2026 Holiday Shipping Surcharges: USPS, UPS, and FedEx
Many 2026 holiday shipping surcharges are higher than they were in 2025, with some USPS commercial adjustments increasing around 40% and UPS/FedEx residential and non-standard package fees also climbing. USPS's holiday increases also stack on top of an existing 8% temporary postage increase. The biggest cost exposure is concentrated in heavier, oversized, and irregular shipments, while many UPS and FedEx surcharges reach their highest levels from late November through late December.
